Wilbur Smith’s new novel King of Kings has taken the number 1 spot in South Africa only three days after publication.

Anticipation for the novel was exceptionally high. The long-awaited sequel to The Triumph of the Sun (link) sees Wilbur Smith’s two family dynasties – the Courtneys and the Ballantynes – meet again in Abyssinia (now Ethiopia).
