Your Questions Answered By Wilbur

IN WHICH ORDER SHOULD I READ THE 'BALLANTYNE' NOVELS?

In the order in which they were written. They are listed in this way on the 'Bibliography' index page, and in the navigation links for that series.

IN WHICH ORDER SHOULD I READ THE 'COURTNEY' NOVELS?

In the order in which they were written (even though some of the later novels are set in a time before the earlier ones!). They are listed in this way on the 'Courtney' index page, and in the navigation links for that series.

IN WHICH ORDER SHOULD I READ THE 'EGYPTIAN' NOVELS?

I suggest that you read River God first, then The Seventh Scroll, Warlock and of course The Quest. See the 'Egyptian' index page.

IS THERE A QUICK WAY TO SEE HOW YOUR PRINCIPAL CHARACTERS RELATE?

See the various 'family trees'. There is one for the Courtneys, the 'Courtneys of Africa', and the Egyptian characters both ancient and modern.

WHO ARE YOUR FAVOURITE AUTHORS?

C.S. Forrester, Patrick O' Brien, Robert Graves, Gerald Durrell, Ryder Haggard, Larry McMurtry, Bernard Cornwell and Cormac McCarthy.

DO YOU EVER DO TOURS TO MY COUNTRY?

You can find more information regarding signings and tours on the 'Public Appearances' page.

I AM TRYING TO FIND A COPY OF ONE OF YOUR BOOKS, BUT CAN'T…

Try the on-line booksellers and auction sites, or use your favourite search engine to search using the title. If you are looking for hardcover or out-of-print editions this might be your best choice. If you are looking for translations from English, please see the 'Links to Publishers' page. Not all of my novels have been translated, however.
